With great sadness, Serenity Funeral Home in Kansas City, MO announces the passing of Janet Menashe, a dedicated advocate for people with disabilities and a loving wife, mother, and sister. Born on 'date', Janet lived a life filled with purpose and dedication to her community.

Janet began her career at Jewish Family & Child Service (JFCS) in 2015, where she worked tirelessly as a disabilities advocate until her retirement in 2022. Her commitment to serving others was evident in everything she did, earning her the respect and admiration of those who knew her.

Janet is lovingly remembered by her husband Jerome Menashe, daughter Erika Menashe, and siblings Diane (John Baringer) Lefkow, Michael Lefkow, Joe (Joanne) Menashe, and Denise Menashe. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Janet's legacy extends beyond her work at JFCS. She was an active member of Congregation Ahavath Achim, Congregation Neveh Shalom, and the Jewish community in Kansas City, MO. Her kindness, compassion, and generosity inspired countless people and will continue to do so long after she is gone.
